AI Notes, EHR Fill, and Voice Scribe Plans

SOAP Note Buddy has three plans. They differ by which features are included, not by how much you can use them. Every plan includes unlimited AI note generation, unlimited patients, and unlimited custom templates.

The plans

AI Notes ($29/month, or $299/year) is for clinicians who write their notes in the app and copy them into their EMR, or who don’t need automated form filling. It includes unlimited AI note generation, unlimited patients, custom templates, AI Chat, and PDF and document uploads.

EHR Fill ($49/month, or $499/year) includes everything in Notes, plus EHR Auto Fill. Auto Fill reads the form on your web-based EMR and completes it in one click. This is the plan for clinicians who document directly inside an EMR.

Voice Scribe ($79/month, or $799/year) includes everything in Fill, plus Voice Scribe (ambient recording and transcription in the iOS and Android apps), Patient Checklist, and Smart Image Analysis.

Which plan do I need?

If you want the app to fill out forms in your EMR, you need EHR Fill or Voice Scribe. If you want to record a visit and have the note written from what you said, you need Voice Scribe.

If you are not sure, start with the plan that matches how you document today. You can move up at any time, including during your free trial, and the change takes effect immediately.

Is there a monthly note limit?

No. AI note generation is unlimited on all three plans. Earlier versions of the Starter plan capped generation at 40 notes per month. That cap has been removed.

Changing plans

Go to Settings in the extension or app and click Manage Account to open your dashboard, then switch plans there.

Upgrading takes effect immediately and is prorated, so you only pay the difference for the rest of your billing period. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep what you’re paying for until then.

If you downgrade, features from the higher plan stop working at that point. Moving from Voice Scribe to EHR Fill ends access to Voice Scribe; moving to Notes also ends access to EHR Auto Fill. Your patients, notes, templates, and settings are never affected by a plan change.

Existing subscribers

If you subscribed before August 2026 on Starter, Unlimited, or Unlimited+, you keep your original price and your current features. Nothing about your subscription changes, and you do not need to do anything. Starter subscribers gain unlimited AI note generation, since the 40-per-month cap no longer exists.
