Your First Auto Fill
Auto Fill works directly inside your web-based EMR. It detects form fields on the page, generates clinically appropriate content, and fills them in for you.
Step-by-Step
- Select your patient. Open the extension and click the patient you’re documenting for.
- Enter a daily summary. Describe today’s visit in a few sentences: what you worked on, how the patient responded, any notable observations. You can also use the voice recorder to dictate your summary.
- Navigate to your EMR. Open the daily note page in your EMR where you normally type your documentation.
- Click Auto Fill. Press the Auto Fill button in the extension popup.
What Happens Next
The extension automatically:
- Expands collapsed sections such as accordions, tabs, and hidden panels so all fields are visible.
- Detects every fillable field on the page, including text inputs, textareas, dropdowns, checkboxes, and custom dropdown menus.
- Generates content tailored to each field based on your patient’s eval summary, daily summary, and the field’s context on the page.
- Opens Field Preview so you can review all generated values before anything is filled.
Review Before Filling
In the Field Preview screen, you can:
- Review each field’s generated content.
- Edit any value by clicking on it.
- Regenerate a single field if you want a different result.
- Approve and fill to write all values into your EMR at once.
Tips
- Auto Fill works with any web-based EMR, including Kinnser, Tebra, Net Health, WebPT, and others.
- The more detailed your daily summary, the more accurate the generated content.
- If a field is filled incorrectly, you can always edit it in the preview or directly in the EMR after filling.
