What Happens When You Cancel
Canceling your subscription does not delete your data. Here is exactly what happens at each stage.
When You Cancel
Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Until that date:
- You continue to have full access to all features
- Auto Fill, AI Note, and voice features all work normally
- No changes to your data or patients
After Your Billing Period Ends
Once your subscription expires:
- You can no longer generate notes or use AI features
- You can still open the extension and view your patient list
- Your data remains stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB)
- Your data remains stored in the cloud (Google Firestore)
- Nothing is deleted automatically
If You Resubscribe Later
All your data is waiting for you. When you resubscribe:
- Your patient profiles, eval summaries, and note history are all intact
- Custom instructions and settings are preserved
- You pick up right where you left off with no setup required
There is no time limit on how long your data is preserved. Whether you come back in a week or six months, your data will be there.
If You Want Your Data Permanently Deleted
Canceling your subscription does not remove your data. If you want everything permanently deleted from our systems, you need to request it separately:
- Email [email protected] with the subject “Data Deletion Request.”
- Include your account email address.
- We will confirm deletion within 48 hours.
To also remove local data from your browser, uninstall the extension or clear your browser data for the extension.
