SOAP Note Buddy is available as native apps on iPhone, iPad, and Android. EMR Auto Fill runs in the browser extension on a desktop or laptop (Chrome, Brave, or Edge, on Windows or Mac), and in the app’s built-in EHR browser.

What Works on Mobile

AI Note works great on mobile. Generate complete clinical notes from your patient data and copy them into any system.
Voice Scribe in the iOS and Android apps lets you record a patient visit and have the AI transcribe it and generate a structured note, right from your phone or tablet.
AI Chat lets you ask clinical documentation questions and get help refining your notes.

Auto Fill on Mobile

In the app, tap Fill EHR on the Visit screen. Your EMR opens in the app’s built-in browser with the patient and visit summary ready. Open the right note page, tap the floating patient button, review, and tap Fill Page.

Auto Fill support may be limited on some mobile EMR layouts. Mobile versions of EMRs often use simplified interfaces, different page structures, or responsive layouts that can affect field detection.

If Auto Fill does not detect fields correctly on your mobile EMR, use AI Note instead. Generate the note in the app and paste it into your EMR manually.

Setting Up on iPad or iPhone

Install SOAP Note Buddy from the App Store.
Open the app and sign in with the same account you use on your computer.

There is no Safari extension for iPad or iPhone. Use the app (including Fill EHR in its built-in EHR browser), or the Chrome extension on your computer for EMR auto-fill.

Setting Up on Android

Install SOAP Note Buddy from the Google Play Store.
Open the app and sign in with the same account you use on iOS or the browser extension.
Android does not have a SOAP Note Buddy browser extension yet. Use the native app (including Fill EHR in its built-in EHR browser), or the Chrome extension on your desktop for EMR auto-fill.
