Note History
Note history tracks summaries of previously generated notes for each patient. This gives the AI context about prior visits so it can produce more accurate and consistent documentation over time.
How Note History Works
Each time you generate a note using Auto Fill or AI Note, a summary of that note is saved automatically to the patient’s history. You do not need to do anything to enable this. The AI uses these summaries on subsequent visits to:
- Maintain continuity of care language across notes.
- Reference prior treatment activities and patient responses.
- Track progress or changes in status from visit to visit.
- Avoid repeating the same phrasing verbatim.
Viewing Note History
- Open a patient’s card from the main screen.
- Scroll to the Note History section.
- Previous note summaries are listed with their dates.
How the AI Uses History
When generating a new note, the AI receives the most recent note summary along with the patient’s eval summary and any custom instructions. This means the AI knows what happened last visit and can document today’s session in context. For example, if the last note mentioned the patient tolerated 10 reps of an exercise, the AI can reference progression or regression in today’s note.
Tips
- Note history builds automatically. The more notes you generate for a patient, the better the AI’s contextual awareness becomes.
- If a note summary does not accurately reflect what happened during a visit, you can edit the summary to correct it.
- Note history syncs with the Voice App, so summaries generated on either platform are available in both.
