Using SOAP Note Buddy on a Mac (Safari)

SOAP Note Buddy does not have a Safari extension at this time. On a Mac, use the extension in Google Chrome, Brave, or Microsoft Edge instead. All three are free for macOS, and the extension works exactly the same as it does on Windows.

Set Up on a Mac

1. If you don’t have one already, download Google Chrome for Mac (or Brave or Edge).
2. Open it and follow Install on Chrome to add SOAP Note Buddy.
3. Open your EMR in that browser to use Auto Fill. You can keep using Safari for everything else.

Record on Your Phone, Finish on Your Mac

Install the iPhone, iPad, or Android app to record visits with Voice Scribe. Sign in with the same account on your phone and in the Chrome extension, and your patients and notes sync between them automatically.
